The Qaidah Quraaniyah is a detailed Qaida that explains the Arabic letters, joining of letters, formation of Arabic words as well as pronunciation with proper tajweed in good detail. The Qur'aan is the word revealed by Allah Almighty and it has ten rewards in the recitation of each letter. This can only be possible when it is read with the rules and principles of etiquette. Allah has commanded the recitation of the Qur'aan by its proper rules.
The Arabic word tajweed linguistically means “proficiency” or “doing something well”. It comes from the same root letters as the word Jayyid, which means “good”. When applied to the Quran, it means giving every letter of the Quran its rights and due characteristics during recitation and observing the rules that apply to those letters in different situations. These rules are usually taught to children and adults who are learning Arabic through Quran Qaidahs.
