Welcome to Darul Hijrah Books! 

Darul Hijrah is a locally run business in Aotearoa (New Zealand). We are known to be New Zealand's largest Islamic bookstore; Darul Hijrah is an online only store. Our collaboration with over 40 reputable Islamic publishers worldwide ensures high-quality and authentic Islamic resources are easily accessible within New Zealand.
 
Alhamdulillah, from humble beginnings back in 2020, we have expanded our inventory to encompass over 1000 titles spanning a wide array of subjects. Our collection includes books, educational games, and learning resources tailored for both adults and children.
 
As the Noble Qur'aan reminds us in Surah Az-Zumar (the Troops), 39:9, "Are those who know equal to those who do not know?" Knowledge fortifies our faith. Acquiring authentic and thought-provoking knowledge about our faith is essential for nurturing strong, successful, and productive Muslims. The Qur'aan, Sunnah, and Seerah are the cornerstones of Islamic knowledge.

With these ideals in mind, Darul Hijrah's core objectives have been:

Our dedicated team at Darul Hijrah is a partnership between a husband and wife with backgrounds in IT, medicine and Islamic studies, complemented by a lifetime of experience in New Zealand. We consult a reputable and trustworthy scholar in New Zealand to ensure the integrity of our work. We can provide you with customer service that is skilled, well-informed and tailored to your needs.
