Yasir Qadhi

Shaykh Dr Yasir Qadhi is the Dean of the Islamic Seminary of America. He is also a resident scholar at East Plano Islamic Centre (EPIC), USA. 

Yasir Qadhi graduated with a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston, after which he was accepted as a student at the Islamic University of Madinah. After completing a diploma in Arabic, he graduated with a B.A. from the College of Hadith and Islamic Sciences. He also completed an M.A in Islamic Theology from the College of Dawah at the University of Madinah. He then went on to achieve an MA, MPhil and PhD from Yale University. The topic of his doctoral dissertation was 'Reconciling Reason and Revelation in the Writings of Ibn Taymiyyah'.
