Detailed Seerah

'Seerah' (سيرة‎) is often used to refer to the life of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ peace be upon him).

Seerah in Arabic comes from the word 'sāra', which means to be on a journey.

Thereby, a person's seerah is that person's journey through life (i.e. their biography).

 

There are innumerable dimensions to look at and analyse Prophet Muhammad's ﷺ life. For this reason, there have been many books written in this genre and each adds something new to learn.
