About the Author
Imam Abu Zakariyyā Yahya ibn Sharaf al-Nawawi (1233–1277 CE) was one of the foremost scholars of Hadith and Shāfiʿī fiqh. Known for his deep piety, precision and scholarship, he authored some of Islam’s most enduring works, including Riyāḍ al-Ṣāliḥīn and al-Arbaʿīn al-Nawawiyyah. His writings continue to guide students and teachers worldwide.
About the Translator
Musa Furber is an American-born scholar and linguist who embraced Islam during his university studies. He went on to study Islamic sciences extensively in Damascus and is qualified to translate and teach numerous classical texts.
