فَإِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
Fa Inna ma'al 'usri yusra,
(Quran: 94:5).
Meaning: Indeed, with hardship comes ease.
This Quranic verse speaks to the heart of every believer facing life's challenges. When difficulties arise, it's natural to feel overwhelmed—but Islam teaches us that hardship and ease are intertwined. The Quran repeatedly emphasises patience (صبر) as the path through adversity. In Surah Al-Inshirah (94:5-6), Allah reassures us: "Indeed, with hardship comes ease." The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ reinforced this wisdom, saying: "Know that victory comes with patience, relief with affliction, and ease with hardship" (Tirmidhi, 2516). This beautiful verse reminds us that every trial carries within it the seeds of relief—a timeless message of hope and resilience for the Muslim heart.
